                         Introduction to Judaism

Sunday Afternoons at 12:30pm at Temple
October 17 & 24 | November 7, 14, & 21

Introduction to Judaism provides an opportunity to learn about the Jewish religion, traditions and practices, holidays and life-cycle ceremonies, culture and history, as well as basic values and beliefs. This course is open to everyone: for those who feel they have forgotten much of what they studied in religious school years ago, for those who grew up Jewish but have never had the opportunity to study their religion as adults, for those who have married into Judaism or are getting ready to, and for those who are interested in becoming Jewish or simply want to know what Judaism is all about.
Whether you are currently Jewish or not, this course is a great opportunity to get to know Judaism, Reform Judaism, Temple Sinai, and our local Jewish community. We are looking forward to getting to know each other better through our discussions and explorations.

Classes will meet in-person with a Zoom and on-line option, as well. These are the first 5 classes – the Introduction to Judaism course will continue in the Winter and Spring.

To register for the class, please click here or call the Temple Sinai office. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Rabbi Sherman or Avital Kadosh, our Director of Education.
