Mardi Gras Sameach – Happy Mardi Gras Season!  We hope that everyone enjoys this special time of year.  We wish you lots of fun and safe celebrations and travel.

            I want to remind you that this year Temple Sinai is collecting unwanted Mardi Gras beads to be recycled.  Feel free to drop them by Temple during business hours or before services or at drop-off for Religious School.

            And as we are celebrating this year, please remember all of those within our community who could use some help.  It’s a great time to donate to a local organization to help feed, house, and take care of those who are less fortunate right here in our beloved city.  Blood centers are also collecting donations right now as the need for blood always increases at this time of year.

            Our hearts and prayers also go out to our family members and friends – the people of Israel.  As we celebrate here in New Orleans, we continue to pray for the release of the hostages, an end to the attacks on Israel, and peace and security for the entire region.  Shaalu Shlom Yerushalayim – let us continue to pray for the peace and well-being of Jerusalem and all Israel.
