Wonderland & Whimsy Gala FAQs 

Q:  What time does the Gala begin?

A:  The whimsical fun begins at 4:00pm and ends at 6:00pm. Our Patrons and Sponsors will have a special cocktail party that is from 3:00pm-4:00pm. The Gala and the Patron Party both take place at The Sazerac House, 101 Magazine St.

Q.  What is the attire?

A.  Dress in your Wonderland-inspired cocktail attire, whether that be adding a Mad Hatter hat, dainty tea party dress, or just your Sunday best!

Q:  Do I need to be a temple member to attend the Gala?

A:  Absolutely not! The Gala is open to the public so bring your family, friends, neighbors for a WONDERful time. All are welcome and invited!

Q: Will there be a raffle?

A: Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the Gala check-in table and also at two other stations at the event. Cost is $25/raffle ticket or 5 tickets for $100. We can accept payment by cash, check, credit card or Venmo. Our four fantastic RAFFLE ITEMS are:  Vacation Package (stay tuned for details!), Foodie Gift Card Package of Ten $100 gift cards to local restaurants, Beautiful gold and diamond necklace, Sports Package of Two Club Tickets to a Saints Game and Two Lower-level Tickets to a Pelicans Game.

Q. Will there be food and drinks?

A. Our Gala food and dessert bar will be provided by Pigeon Catering. We will have three whimsical-themed cocktail/mocktail open bars.

Q.  Where do the funds raised go?

A. Our Gala is the major annual fundraising event for Temple Sinai, organized by our incredible co-chairs Stephanie Kaston and Zachary Russell. This event helps us continue innovative programming, fund increased security costs, provide a home for the New Orleans community, and create paths to carry on the warm and welcoming atmosphere that is Temple Sinai.

Q. Is there a minimum age to attend this event? 

A. Because there will be alcohol being served, we ask that all attendees be age 21 years and older.

Q. Can I forward information about the Gala to my friends through social media?

A. Yes! We will begin to run this event on our social media platforms in late-January. Make sure you are following us on Facebook or Instagram @TempleSinaiNOLA to get the latest update on this WONDERful event!
